Gianmarco, what are you talking about?
Gianmarco is a really representative local singer in Peru with some success in Latin America. Having this in mind, Claro, was really smart when deciding to have Gianmarco as the image of the aggressive campaign they have in the market in pursue of new users. However Gianmarco is telling us at radio and TV spots, that, there’re more than 11 million mobile users in Peru. I ask myself, without answer, if it’s possible to have 2 new million mobile users in just one month. I guess that Claro should be really careful about the message they send to the market. Unfortunately Osiptel has not updated the info about statistics at the end of January. The competition between Movistar and Claro for being the market leader is far from ending. However, I guess that the local market still needs a third carrier in order to have good prices and better services for the end user. 11 million Gianmarco? No doubt we’ll reach this number in the near future, but this is not the time.
